Explanation:
Developed to be the new symbol of power for the Geass Directorate. With the energy wing installed, with two huge energy “feathers”, the speed of the Kusanagi has drastically improved. The system allows the Kusanagi to move at blinding speeds, such that it appears to be little more than a red blur in flight. It has a Harken Booster for controlled flight. The wings can fire dozens of energy bolts over a wide area, each one capable of destroying a Knightmare in a single hit. The wings are also used as a defense mechanism similar to the Blaze Luminous, enveloping the Albion for protection. It’s radiant wave surger-based shield can block a Hadron Cannon blast with seemingly no effort and it’s MVS (which is colored green as opposed to the usual red) is evidently more potent than normal versions, as it can cut through other lower generation MVS swords. The Kusanagi outperforms most other models thanks to the heavy amount of Sakuradite scattered throughout its frame as well as in its Yggdrasil Drive, the Core Luminous. The Kusanagi features two retractable Factspheres affixed on its hips and 2 Slash Harkens (in its legs). These Slash Harkens have experimental thrusters called Harken Boosters which can improve their speed and allow them to change direction midflight. Even with his skills as a pilot, Xavier Ghirlandaio still gets scared of driving the Kusanagi as its speed is beyond anyone can comprehend. It took him almost 6 months of everyday training to get used to the knightmare.

Explanation:
In 2017, Xavier Ghirlandaio receives his first knightmare frame from the geass directorate called the Myoushutou. The Float System backpack is now standard equipment. The Myoushutou features two retractable Factspheres affixed on its chest, two forearm-mounted beam shields (Blaze Luminous), and four Slash Harkens (two on its wrists and two on its hips). The leg shields increase the effectiveness of its kicks. It also sports a pair of Maser Vibration Swords (MVS), which oscillate at a high ratio to cut through almost anything. It comes equipped with a VARIS particle rifle (Variable Ammunition Repulsion Impact Spitfire) which can adapt its projectile repulsion output to any situation.
